A typical vacation for my family consists of going to a ritzy hotel with all of the first-class amenities that you would expect from a luxury inn. While this atmosphere has been enjoyable for awhile, this year my wife and kids insisted on switching up our usual routine. Instead of heading out to Hawaii or the Caribbean, we decided to forego the fancy accommodations and delve into something more pastoral.
Thanks to the advice of one of my coworkers, we were able to find a cabin that offered a comprehensive North Carolina farm vacation. The cabin was located on five beautiful acres of land in the picturesque South and had a full animal farm. We enjoyed living the farm life for a few days, and one of the best parts about the vacation was that we were able to bring our dog with us.
If you’re planning a long road trip across the states, make sure you have a map to guide you where you can sleep comfortably during the night. Some travel agencies specialize in this type of travel to make your road trip hassle free. If you want to go on a college road trip, such companies can arrange school tours for potential college students who are scouting for the ideal university.
They can guide you to good bed and breakfast lodging houses and where to park when you need a quick pit-stop. These agencies also have guides to direct you where to replenish your supplies and fuel. On my last road trip, my travel agent suggested that I try out a location in the Tar Heel state that offered North Carolina cabin rentals. The quaint abode was animal-friendly and provide a unique rustic appeal.
